It is with sadness we report the passing of Greg "Crispy" McLennan in the early hours of Sunday February 17 in Toowoomba.

Crispy, as he was known for many years, was well known to many in the Qld and Australian Speedway communities having worked with a number of midget, sprintcar and sedan racing teams throughout his adult life. In more recent years, Crispy worked both in sales for Qld Speedway Spares and in track caretaker roles at Brisbane International Speedway and Charlton Raceway in Qld. His love of racing also extended to karting, where he could often be found helping a number of young karters during their early years in the sport at kart tracks throughout South East Qld.

While an official cause of death is yet to be released, it is believed Greg died peacefully in his sleep on Sunday morning. Funeral arrangements are pending and details will be made available once confirmed.
