February 18 2008 - Top Five Results for Reidy at Australian Nationals |

The annual Australian Sprintcar Nationals at Speedway City in South Australia over the weekend saw Danny Reidy finish just outside the podium in fourth place.
Starting where he finished in the feature race on Saturday night, in fourth place, Reidy just missed out on his desired result of finishing on the podium, and although slightly disappointed, he was happy at the same time.
“We were in there with a shot of a podium finish, but we just didn’t get the breaks we needed in lapped traffic, and we ended up in fourth place in the end,” expressed Reidy.
“To come away from the weekend with the car in one piece and a pair of Top 5 results is fairly satisfying, and the aim for our next event is to return to the podium.”
Reidy, aboard his # 5 NT Queensland Speedway Spares backed Eagle, was on the pace throughout the Australian Nationals and he managed to score two heat race wins over the two nights. The only down point of the event occurred in the dash on the second night when Reidy started on the front row only to be out muscled by another rival into he first turn and he then fell back to fourth place as a consequence which was where he ended up finishing.
The next event for Reidy is the annual Krikke Boys Shootout at Bunbury City Speedway over in Western Australia on the weekend of March 1 and 2.
