Wet weather brought a premature close to Danny Reidy’s first appearance of the 2008/09 Season during the second round of the Comp Cams Sprintcar Series last Saturday night at Brisbane International Speedway in Queensland.

After qualifying time trials and one round of heat races, the wet weather hit and washed away any hope of continuing the race meeting.

Reidy, who was debuting a brand new J&J, was 10th in time trials out of 27 cars and in his heat race finished seventh, but on the plus side he managed to record the second fastest lap time of that race.

Despite being robbed of valuable seat time with his new car, Reidy’s focus now turns to this Saturday night (October 18) for the inaugural running of the ‘George Tatnell Legends Night’ at Tyrepower Parramatta City Raceway in New South Wales.
