March 29 2010 - Reidy’s Strong PCR Form Continues |

Over the past two seasons Danny Reidy has shown strong form at Parramatta City Raceway (Sydney, NSW) and that continued last Saturday night when he finished on the podium during the PCR Sprintcar Track Championship finale.
After he had started the feature race from the second row, Reidy moved into third at the start and then into second place a handful of laps later. On the eighth lap Reidy moved into the lead and held down that position up until he was passed by eventual winner Max Dumesny on the 16th lap. From there Reidy held on to finish in second place on the podium aboard his NT # 5 Desert Palms Resort / Titan Plant Hire supported J&J.
“I wasn’t too sure who was behind when I moved into the lead and then just after half race distance Max [Dumesny] went by me and that caught me a bit by surprise,” explained Reidy. “I stayed with Max for the remainder of the race as he didn’t get away from me and I didn’t gain on him either. Although the win would’ve been great second isn’t a bad result considering the run we’ve had lately.”
Reidy’s speed throughout the feature race was proven after he recorded the fastest lap of the entire 30-lap distance.
Earlier in the night Reidy had progressed forward in his two heat races after he finished third in both.
This Easter Long Weekend Reidy will contest the annual Easter Trail down south that kicks off on Good Friday (April 2) at Avalon Raceway (Geelong, VIC) and heads to Borderline Speedway (Mt. Gambier, SA) on Saturday night (April 3) and Premier Speedway (Warrnambool, VIC) on Sunday night (April 4) for the final two rounds.
Reidy would like to thank Desert Palms Resort in Alice Springs, Titan Plant Hire, Baines Engines, Gonzo Racing Pipes, Camden Neon Signs and P&M Motor Body Repairs for all their support throughout the 09/10 season.
